Why the name Little Yuzu?
A couple friends of mine started calling me 'Yuzu' because I like the San-X character Yuzuchan. The name just stuck. When thinking of a name for my Web site, I thought I'd add the word 'little' before my nickname because I like small, cute things.

For how long have you been crafting?
I started sewing since I can remember. I must've been nine or ten years old when I first put needle & thread together to try and make my own pouches and stuffies. Beading and knitting came much later on, as recently as two years ago.

What inspires your creations?
When it comes to jewelry making, I look at current trends to get a feel of what people might like, and I create things based on that. I like jewelry that's fun and cute, but can also be simple and classic. As for plushies, I think most of my inspiration comes from Japanese toys and products.

How do you draw those cute Powerpuff thingies?
The little Piratepuff, Officepuff and Potterpuff thingies come from vector drawings that I create in Adobe Illustrator. If you'd like to learn more, I wrote a tutorial for the Potterpuff Fans Community that can be found here. My drawings are all inspired by the original Potterpuffs.

What kind of camera do you use?
I use a Canon PowerShot SD400 Digital Elph.

How did you learn to cook?
I personally think I have no idea what I'm doing in the kitchen, but my family seems to like what I cook & bake. I love watching different programs on the Food Network and picking up cooking tips from the different chefs. My favorite chef is Giada De Laurentiis.

What are some of your personal interests?
I am obsessed with Harry Potter and The Office. I also love watching the Disney Channel, baking cupcakes & cookies, taking photographs of food, and preparing bentos. I enjoy shopping as well...clothes, shoes, handbags, kawaii stuff, food. :)

Do you collect things?
Yes. I like to collect scarves. I live in southern California, where it's usually pretty warm, but I still wear scarves because they're such a nice accessory to almost any outfit. I also collect bento boxes. I can't stop buying them!
